  1. If they couldn't figure out that the engine was seized up nearly right away, it is their fault. That's just sheer incompetence on behalf of the techs working on your vehicle.
  2. I fold and unfold mine every time I pull into or back out of my garage. Done this for years on multiple different trucks. Never had a problem.
  3. I'm assuming that's for an LTD and not the refresh. Even so, that's a good deal in this market. Nobody around here is discounting trucks, except for Ram (they're advertising up to $8,050 in incentives in the southeast market). Market adjustments are still rare, but you aren't getting anything for less than sticker. 1-2-year-old used trucks are still being advertised for their original MSRP or more in most cases. Some in demand vehicles are going for way more. Somebody mentioned a ZR2 at $84K. There are multiple listed online for over $90K right now. There's even one at a whopping $107K. https://www.carfax.com/vehicle/3GCUDHELXNG573904
  4. To clarify, they removed them on the refresh '22. The '22 Sierra Limited has them.
  5. It's not. It's simply a cost-cutting measure. The 2019 Silverados had the buttons on all four handles, they were deleted for 2020. Well before any of the chip shortage/supply chain issues started. Us GMC guys were lucky enough to keep them through the '22 LTD, but now our time has come.
  6. Is anybody else's DEF gauge all over the place? This morning it showed only two bars remaining but when I got back in the truck to drive home this afternoon it was 75% full.
  7. It seems like the Sierras have a higher percentage of 3 VINs. I've seen a couple of Denali Ultimates with 1 VINs, most SLTs and AT4s I've seen so far are 3 VIN though. The Silverados seem to have a higher percentage of 1 VINs for whatever reason.
  8. I wouldn't worry about it. Just drive it, follow GM's maintenance intervals, and enjoy it. Chances are, you'll never have a problem. And if you do, that's what warranties are for. Congratulations on the new truck and have a safe trip.
  9. I've had the adaptive cruise control brake pretty firmly in this situation. I've never, to my knowledge, had the auto emergency braking activate though. I've had the red icon flash on the HUD plenty of times, but it's never actually applied the brakes.
  10. There's not any performance increases that I'm aware of with DFM disabled. Seeing as how when you'd need the extra power, the truck is going to be firing on all 8 anyway. Sport and Tow/Haul do not disable DFM like they do on some other brands with cylinder deactivation. If you shift the transmission manually, I believe that disables DFM. Don't quote me on that though.
  11. Nope, no button on mine for the windows. Though you can roll them down by holding unlock on the key fob. My '19 SLT didn't have the window button either, and it didn't have power running boards. The buttons on my Denali (from left to right) are - Lane Keep Assist, Parking Sensors, Auto Start/Stop, Tailgate, Hazards, Traction Control, Bed Outlet, Hill Descent Control, and Power Running Boards).
  12. On my truck, that's where the button for the running boards is.
  13. Not all trucks have that button. Neither my '19 SLT, nor my '21 Denali, have the button to roll all the windows down at once.
  14. 87 is around $4.25 at Costco. Unfortunately, they don't sell diesel, so I'm stuck paying $5.49 at the BP down the street.
  15. I've been happy with Hendrick Autoguard warranties. They aren't officially backed by GM, however, Hendrick is a huge dealer of GM vehicles, and I've never had an issue getting them to pay out on claims in the past.
  16. Truck got damaged in shipping and was repainted the wrong color possibly?
  17. Correct, there's one supposedly in stock at a dealer about 75 miles from me. '22 High Country with High Country Premium II package (required for SuperCruise). I've been keeping my eye out for them, because If I upgrade to a '22 refresh, SuperCruise is on my must-have list. The aforementioned truck is unfortunately not an LM2, which is also a must for me.
  18. They will sell every one of these $150K Escalade Vs they can build, mark my words. Most Escalades are heavily optioned and selling for over $100K as it stands. It's extremely rare to find a base model with zero options.
  19. To add, 4 & 5 are also signifiers of U.S. assembly. All GM full-size trucks use 1, 2, or 3 as the first digit of their VIN though.
  20. FWIW, I've had two T1s with the power sliding rear window. Neither has leaked (and I check, often). I'd miss having adaptive cruise control, personally; but if that's something you don't care about, then you might as well eliminate a potential problem by forgoing the slider.
  21. They've had it since at least 2014, when it was called 'Onstar Remote Link'.
  22. The GM at the dealership I buy from says inventory is very much sporadic. They might get 3-4 truckloads one month, then nothing the next.
  23. It appears they come on with the parking lights and headlights, from what I've seen in photos. They don't appear to be illuminated with just the DRL.
  24. Nope, just LED reflectors like before. Even on the $82K Denali Ultimate, which is a bit of a disappointment.
