  1. both are 4x4 and both have 10 spd tranny.... went off 4x4 base models....yeah I just don't see it.....couple of cameras and a motor plus few more buttons....
  2. mine had a rough 1st to 2nd if I rushed it......let it warm up and be smooth especially first drive of the day, after that was pretty much smooth as butter.....right before I sold it I noticed a few more clunky shifts that weren't normal but who knows, could have been mental thing....
  3. from an LT base to HC base is 14k.....wtf do you get for 14k, lol I bought my 19 RST from these guys
  4. for sure something isn't right and cant believe the dealer hasn't mentioned to you that this isn't normal.....not by a far stretch my pads look almost new at 3k
  5. for sure that's a given, thought he ment how are they actually delivered at dealership.....
  6. that's insane...….think the dealer is just hosing you, have you physically had wheel off and checked them yourself...…..no way you can burn thru pads and definetly not a rotor that fast, even if you are towing.....something isn't right
  7. where can you get that service manual?....be interested in picking one up
  8. Kirkland actually has some of strickest guidelines for their products.....i do know they put them through a pretty severe test for most products and they have to be as good or better.....anything i have ever bought from Kirkland has been of good quality, and heck its probably mobil anyways, lol...….i would use it if you change your oil when your suppose too you wont have a failure....ive never had one in almost 40 yrs of driving but if it makes you sleep better than buy that brand..... just did mine other day at 2500 miles......Castor full synthetic (best deal) and yeah i will do all my own oil changes....for one i hate sitting around at dealer and two its bit less money and three i actually like doing it....after you have routine down its a 15 minute ordeal.....it would take me that long just to drive to the dealer mostly its the time though but saving $70 on top of it doesn't hurt. lol
  9. see semis dropping them off here in so cal.....no matter the brand all come by truck, unless dealer trade nearby they just drive them
  10. I have 6.6 gas and its not that great.....I know my DIC mpg is full of ****** but still even though I haven't actually calculated it gotta be somewhere between 12-15mpg.....I get about same distance as my 19 1500 with 22 gal tank as I do on my 36 gal tank now, maybe a bit more on 2500.....mixed half and half LA city and fwy…..I really thought it would be better and seems to be on hwy more so but still...... I believe 3.73 gears for new HDs it seems like completely different motor now than it was new.....I never drove 6.0 so no comparison.....but it would smoke my 5.3 RST I am pretty sure, certainly feels like it would anyway
  11. DIC isn't very accurate, I had same issue and MPG isnt accurate either......idk what the point of displaying all this info if it isn't even correct
  12. this is exactly what i did......the LT trim offers quite a bit more than custom and price difference is minimal.....LT is best value diesel or gas depends on needs.....the 6.6L gas moves pretty well....bit sluggish first couple of thousand miles but now it really gets up and goes....totally happy
  13. trucks are hardest vehicles to find right now.....yeah a month or so ago was best bet....everyone in fear from covid and inventory still decent.....few dealers around me have no 1500s and ones that do have WTs....am sure there is some still around but getting thin and I see trucks with temp plates everyehere…..so they are still selling
  14. inventory is really low....some dealers don't even have any trucks to sell around here, some only have a few....and some only WT are left......crazy
  15. I as well have had a few weird shifts....it is brand new and I don't get spooked too easily so well see what happens, only at 2k miles so just breaking in still....it is smooth when driving
  16. there is more profit on higher end models which is usually why discounts are bigger.....idk your tax where you live but you will know when your too low......they don't respond over 30% off on WT.....they will ask you if your on medication, lol forgot you have trade as well but still seems like bit of reach...
  17. I just got iconic 4" black oval nerf bars....$197 shipped, easy to install and they look great and do what I need them to do......I just needed help getting out of truck so I wouldn't keep messing up seat sliding off it everytime…..I am not too picky or fancy.....they match truck great and price was good......good enough for me
  18. never had an oil related failure and keep my trucks along time......I am not a fanatic about oil at all, just change it when it needs to be changed and yeah I will do first one from dealer since its free and need to do warranty work anyways but after that ill do it myself.....since its 2500 its easier to get under truck as it sits taller....brand of oil don't really care....i used to be sponsored by amsoil for racing but never saw a difference between others so....i just used it because of deal i got from them ( i wasn't good enough to get it for free but it was a lot cheaper than buying anything else, lol)
  19. ill throw 295s on when 275s wear out.....I know they fit cuz another threw 305s on so shouldn't be a problem......since gas mileage is already crap whats 2 more mpgs, lol.....truck sits tall enough as is.....hopefully I get a few years out of stock tires, hard to throw away good rubber and don't have an issue with stock Michelins......actually was one of best rain tires I ever driven on in 2019 RST
  20. I have 2020 2500 HD LT with conv 2 pkg and slider window and so far have not had any issue....11/19 build.....perfectly fine and the kicker is I don't even use rear window.....in my Toyota I would shove lumber thru rear window but on GM its too small of an opening....but so far the window is tightly sealed
  21. maybe.....I have 2500 HD and have spot for second battery under the hood, may have to look into that...
  22. I got conv 2 pkg for the outlets and premium infotainment but the premium isn't much different than the conv 1 pkg info and outlets are useless for what I need them for.....maybe it will be one of those things in year or so ill have to do something and be glad I got it
  23. exactly its the registration.....but someone probably will pay too much for it, though yeah should be a heavy discount.....5k miles is nothing though, barely broken in
  24. I got 27% last august on RST 1500 and 15-16% on 2500 last month.....credit is individual per person and isn't part of selling price when comparing....they had a strike and covid 19.....idk I think maybe 2020s are done, with strike and covid 19 they are way behind and 2021 are coming soon.....rebates already have slipped back the other way, and sure dealer discounts will be same.....jump on one if it pops up and yeah may have to travel....
  25. what about aftermarket companies....they replace module and seen them do it, infotainment and mvi...they do it and sell it, idk the details but they advertise it https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=2019+silverado+infotainment+upgrade&&view=detail&mid=1CA6612D673E2599493F1CA6612D673E2599493F&&FORM=VRDGAR&ru=%2Fvideos%2Fsearch%3Fq%3D2019%2Bsilverado%2Binfotainment%2Bupgrade%26FORM%3DHDRSC3
