  1. I was just holding my phone, so sorry about the shake and lack of professionalism here but you can get an idea. This is a BONE stock exhaust on both parts. Only mod is an S&B cold air. 3/4 throttle on both and a quick "blip"
  2. Pretty sure they are a flow-thru design so won't rob any HP, just cut back on drone. I would leave them alone myself.
  3. +1 I plan on running to that same box and there's a open slot with switched and one with constant, so don't need to even pull that blue part off anyway
  4. NICELY done, sir!
  5. Just an edumacated guess then.. old engine was from Ontario/new from Tonawanda, New York
  6. I'm hooking up my Viofo dash* cam today so will be doing a before/after on sound (stock exhaust). I've heard some say it sounds great and others say there was no difference. I know in the past, CAIs have added a ton of intake noise so hoping that's the case. Side note: Saw you put a "confused" emoji. Thread on that
  7. What Reel said... I have one flapper and resonators
  8. I waited the 2 months.... Headed out to my parents' garage (large enough to stuff the truck in.. mine isn't) Got 1/2 mile out and the engine blew a spring and took the whole motor out Plan on trying again this weekend
  9. Also curious where everyone tied into. The driver's side box is all hot/all the time. If I'm trying to avoid running wires toward the pass side, this is an issue
  10. Hmm.. I have a 378. Pretty sure that'd look dumb ?
  11. Thanks for this. Been looking for a good set of 194s for the plates but most are stupidly bright. 400lm should be just about right
  12. How "budget friendly" we talking? Muffler delete = 10 bucks in material to 100 in material and install Cold air = 250ish from S&B White Auto Media Group is $400 (300 for flash/100 for tool) for tons of customizing (speed limiter delete...automatic close windows from key FOB etc) LED reverse lights = 10 bucks
  13. Hate to bump and old thread like this but did re-routing fix this for anyone? I'm about to install this camera in a few hours so would love to do it once and not trial and error
  14. Side note, is there a way to see where an engine was built? I have numbers from the old and new
  15. She's back in the driveway. Can't say it was red carpet but I don't ask for much. So far, no leaks etc but will be keeping a close eye on it. The mechanic seemed to do his due diligence on looking for things so I am optimistic. I give kudos to Ray Chevy in Fox Lake IL. Overall, fairly painless experience.
  16. Your dealer is fixing that for free? Wow.... I haven't needed to ask but that's pretty amazing
  17. Soon to be the Kicker sub and on the other side, the souls of those whom scorned me And of course, a tow strap
  18. Hey man! I have that same camera and planning on doing it tomorrow. What wire(s) did you use? Hook up both constant and switched for parking mode?
  19. Should plasti-dip the windshield too, to match ya know
  20. For those with issues with the image being grainy etc, I picked these up on the CHEAP and they are BRIGHT https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VNQ646S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Edit: I would not use these on an "always on" light like a plate bulb. Not sure how well that heat sink is, but for the 10 seconds or so it is used for backing up? Zero issues on two trucks
  21. It's an option. I know on the Chevys, it's a very inexpensive one but my 60k (msrp) LT Trailboss doesn't have them either. There were two on the lot. One with a sunroof and one with the nanny sensors. I chose the sunroof
  22. This guy tears down ECMs all the time. Part 1 is mostly of him trying to figure out how to get it apart
