  1. Suppose this would be reallllllllly easy to repro. Might give her a go tomorrow if I remember
  2. Exactly what happened to me. I wanted to clean the truck up nice for a date with the better half. Got home from the wash and damned thing wouldn't start to save my life. Thought maybe a blown fuse since I got the pressure washer way up underneath. Nadda Truck eventually started after coming back out 30 minutes later. Figured a hiccup in the ECM. Wanted to take it for a run to see if everything seemed OK. Got to the stop sign and noticed the matt was on the accelerator and pulled it off. Thought nothing of it until I saw this.
  3. Going to be a million answers here but the cheapest route without a lot of drone is to chop the muffler/leave the flapper(s). I'm personally going the other route and removing the flapper and see how it sounds for now since I can do this in my garage.
  4. That is what I am interested in hearing. Stock muffler without flapper. I've got a saw and welder
  5. Will likely see more results here: https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/forum/245-20192020-silverado-sierra-troubleshooting/
  6. Been toying with the idea of trying to get ADB access but been way too swamped to even think about at the moment. It seems that older versions of MyLink were less locked down. Even with dev mode enabled, all options are locked out
  7. Pop the cover off and check for the wiring. If it's not there, probably going to be a fairly substantial undertaking
  8. I see the problem. These are American trucks and you're using metric
  9. Just now... someone in California saw your response and is drafting a law just for this.
  10. Maybe "wireless" in the sense you could take/place calls over BT but if you're trying to say your 2007 had "Wireless Android" as in Android Auto, no.. no it did not.
  11. Checked that out and yeah, bet the exhaust is playing a big part in not hearing it. Mine is boneeee stock at the moment.
  12. WAM is awesome but no AFM delete
  13. I stand corrected. I'm not usually wrong but often am
  14. LOL.. touche I have made the mistake of forgetting to turn it off and then get the dreaded... "noooo ... I don't wanna turn" Took it up to GLD for a few bone-stock passes. Hit a 14 flat but I think a ton of that is due to the speed cap at 98. FWIW, I also brake torqued a few passes and then just stabbed it. Stabbing knocked 2 tenths off
  15. GM intake and exhaust are accessories. You can't add them to the build sheet.
  16. Why not toss in 4 High for that? Seems like it'd be just a little more slippage and more wear on the clutch. It's only like 3-4 seconds to swap between.
  17. On a tangent, I leave it in 2WD unless I need 4. Guess I'm old school but on my older trucks, I'd leave the hubs (manual) unlocked until the moment 2WD failed me. That said, maybe I'll give "auto" a try this weekend when we're supposed to see some snow
  18. Nice, thank you for the insight on the sound and leaving that open. Now, if I can get her to come install mine
  19. This right here is plugged (can be opened). She suggested leaving it closed for hotter and/or dusty areas. One other Q, did you do this before an exhaust? Didn't notice it at first, but appears they added a silencer of sorts in front of the marked area. Was kinda hoping for a bit more throttle growl
  20. After watching the install video, think he must have been talking about the side plug (plugged in image)
  21. Been a few months of patiently waiting but it's finally in. Shipping tonight or tomorrow morning. Heard one guy say to leave the front piece closed because snow can get in there? Any truth there?
  22. Could you take a clip of this inside/outside? A lot of people are pulling the muffler and keeping the flapper which makes little sense to me since it is a pretty large restriction. Even when fully-open, it appears to block off +/- 30% of the space. IMHO, if I'm going to get a little louder, I should also be freeing up restrictions
  23. So wait... The sub is only getting the right channel? That right there would be enough to make me walk (no pun intended)
