  2. they tend to fall apart when the screws are put them. , many components on the 1500 need a lot of upgrades to handle more hp

I think these 1500's are already maxed out in stock form... you might want to start looking at a 2500 with all the upgrades youve done. 1500 just cant RELIABLY handle big wheels and power in a daily driver... all those mods put a ton of stress on the parts you upgraded too from stock.. 1500 trucks are best left alone in stock form for daily drivers. 2500 GASSER has all the upgrade you want to start out with from a modding platform 1st upgrade I would do before spending any money on hard parts is reducing coolant temps, much lower than emmissions specs, you want your rad to operate close to 170 F , big wheels power adders, 160F.. get your trans to operate as cool as possible also

  6. try ordering a cheap Curt timer controller from amazon with aux power cable, about 60 bux. it has a much simpler design than the IQPrimus controller Goodluck with the integration
  7. i have to say Mercedes and BMW do a much finer job tuning thier engines and transmissions
  8. it came up to the rockers and you hydrolocked it, i think you where deeper than you imagine, the air intake is about headlight level

  10. i doubt it.. maybe the bed is composite. hoods have been aluminum tinfoil for a few years, why IDK..
  11. try resetting the trans tcu, it feels like a new tune after. just take it to the dealer if you dont have the hardware to do it
  12. I removed my rear seats completely, its given me lots of room, and a rifle rack can now be fitted without anyone seeing you have a gun rack back there
  13. what year and model BMW?? the bimmers and GM cars have a smaller trans pan , they would do good if you can install the truck pan on those cars it adds about an extra 2 quarts i believe
  14. start truck then pull one of the fuses and see what happens, if it dies thats the fuse to add a switch too

  16. its not written on the fuse panel , try google search fuse box for image file, i usually pull the fuel pump fuse if its gonna sit in a strange place

  20. seriously, no one cares about the air we breath in government. it's all about limiting our freedom and power to do what we want. if emmissions was the real reason then airplanes and ships would be burning cleaner too. go to an international airport or a millitary base and watch the jets take off, talk about rolling coal
  21. basic 6.0 with a 4 speed , reliable set up!
  22. i would keep the 5.3 in there, too much monkey business swapping in a 6.0 cheaper to get the HPtuner and delete the DOD and all emmissions parts and software, then you'll love it again when its got power and reliability
