    yup, the z71 package takeoffs is what you want, low milage for $550 -600 a set i have gun metal versions from a Tahoe 4x4 z71, they look slick as owl shiot

    i'm using redline 5w-30 , i noticed my truck would pop up to 50 psi in park when i would rev slightly or blip throttle, I'm not sure i have the correct "AC Delco" filter, i will have to stop by dealer and double check myself using MOBIL 1 oil filter doen't mean its has the correct by-pass pressure, you just paid more $$$ hoping they did thier homework

    I've had them melt down before on stock tune, i always figure that GM designed the cats to operate under their lean tune to last the 100K warrantee on this emmissions part. i would remove it so, at a later date one can reinstall it and it will perform to spec, by not getting cooked with excessive fuel.. its just a thought I had, i doubt anyone will do it , unless they want a higher flowing exhaust better yet take down the factory exhaust dont cut it up, and buy the offroad system and add your own mufflers

    if you activate enrichent function in the ECU , I would delete the 3rd cat.

    are you running the correct oil filter? regulated low pressure or high pressure BOV?

    what level in Feet, is the fossil and organic sediment level at or between? and do we drill beyond this level to strike oil?? I need to do more research, I will be back.. lol i hope i dont turn into a flat earth'r with all this reading i'm doing in my covid free time.

    I always wanted to ask you... where does oil come from? if its far below the layer of prehistoric organics, where is it from and whats its origin? Rocks, minerals?

    get rid of all the emmissions parts and tuning from GM. These new truck dont live long when they operate on factory thermostat,, just say NO to 0w-20 oil, and use 4000 mile OCI

    i also installed and Aux trans filter, be sure to use the correct oil filter for the engine, there are two versions, one is low pressure bypass and the other is higher pressure. using the wrong one might damage the motor too

    DO NOT used DexOS2 0w-20 oil, use 5w-30 or 10w-30. change it at 4000 miles remove thermostat from trans if it has one, change engine t-stat to a 170

    thin oil and high engine temps cause metal on metal failure in these motors, I believe you might as well use water as a lubricant instead of DEXOS2 0w-20

    i have both hellwig front oversized and rear bar. truck handles like a BMW i suggest starting with the large front bar first...see how you like it

    using all factory parts is stock. no aftermarket to replace the oem parts. leveling kit is about as far as i would go on stock parts, after a level kit you MIGHT need to start tuning [upgrading] other components to work correctly or safely

    have the dealer do a Trans relearn on it before you go crazy. from what i've seen , if you pull trans for a converter, get the 6l90 unit for stock stall, otherwise rebuild it now with new pump and upgrade PR valve and the latest tsb updates before it tears itself apart with metal everywhere
