I don’t think that’s what comes on the Denali and high country since that’s the pattern my 21 RST had. Also you’ll notice the door pictured doesn’t have buttons for seat memory or mirror folding which are high Country/Denali standard features.

Glad you’re finally getting it done. The sad part is this was yet another example of some Service Manager not knowing what the hell they’re talking about.

I wasn’t aware you could add them after the fact, but I guess if you found a harness… You won’t get the control options in the infotainment system though. Have you considered the AMP steps? I wish I had got my high country without the power steps and just added the amp ones. I don’t really care much for the look of the factory power steps.

If the RST has the Z71 package it has Rancho shocks. Be interested to know if @silveradosid has the z71 package I had an RST with z71 and the Rancho shocks sucked. Yeah, that’s my subjective opinion but there are a TON of people who share it with me. I also had Rancho shocks on other vehicles and they were all crap. Bad ride, the shock bodies always rusted quickly, and it wasn’t long before they leaked. I’ll never buy another Rancho product based on my own experience.

The phone thing isnt a problem with the truck. The trucks infotainment is being forced by her phone when it’s playing audio. There should be a place on her PHONE to choose where audio gets played, at least there is on iPhone. When you’re in the truck make sure she has it set to phone speakers and not CarPlay/Android Auto/myChevrolet. That way the phone won’t force the truck off Radio to play her sounds. If you can’t figure that out just unpair her phone, sounds like she’s in the passenger seat. Why does her phone need to be paired in the first place if she doesn’t need to take a hands free call or play music over it? If your truck still has 36k bumper to bumper let them look at your radio reception issue.

AT4/Trail Boss (refreshed) came without it depending on which tires were on the truck when built. Trucks with 20” wheels seem to have it. all other trims have sport mode still.

Well it depends on your driving environment but yeah, new GM paint is notoriously easy to chip

Are you asking about putting in a console as well? If so, Yeah it’s been done quite a bit. Have you tried searching the forum? Lots of discussions on this. You don’t need to swap seats to do this. They are not different. Not sure about the seats from a high trim, your truck may not have the connections to run them. Edit to add: just an FYI the seats suck in the top tier trims as well, it’s not just your custom.

Oof, while you’re not wrong (for T1 trucks) you’re really bringing this one back from the dead.

Nope Theres not a bulb in the traditional sense. The LEDs are built into the headlight and cannot simply be changed like you’re used to with other vehicles or the Custom. High Country has a MUCH better headlight. You could possibly change out the entire headlight assemblies to those from a high country but I don’t know for sure if that works.

Just because you’re not capable of using the features to aid your drive instead of control it doesn’t mean others aren’t. Stop painting with such a broad brush. Teslas are popular because they are electric. You know they aren’t all self driving correct?

It probably just may not stick that well the the plastic piece. The screws don’t hole anything but the plastic, you’re safe to take it off. I think the tailgate rating is in the owners manual, you could check there. It is somewhere around 375 though.

Wiper functions should have been a separate stalk on the right side of the column for the console shifter trucks. The auto high beam button is no big deal. The trailer brake controller behind the console shifter on at4/Denali and the giant stupid all windows down button on the center stack are way dumber
