I don’t think the electronic center console shifter is going to be something you can add. There’s likely programming involved that GM won’t give you. You can likely swap in the rest of the parts, retain your column shifter and just cover the hole for the console shifter. You’ll be the first to do it.

Do you have the actual TSB for this? I had the CEL come on tonight and the fans are acting weird. Thinking this could be the issue. I have U0284

I haven’t seen anyone talk about actually getting the front heated seat retrofit put in a Silverado/Sierra yet. I know for sure, the heated seats and steering wheel were pretty nice this morning in my 22. Glad I wasn’t missing them.

Your dealer likely doesn’t have an allocation for what you ordered.

Headlights were one of the big reasons I got a high country. The headlights on my 21 RST sucked.

I ordered this time so I could get the exact truck I wanted that didn’t include any features I didn’t want to pay for, like a sun roof. Also, ordering made sure I would actually get one and locked in my price at time of order. The MSRP on my truck was increased twice, about $2500 total, between order and delivery. I didn’t have to pay that increase. Also, I absolutely don’t have a free day to just drive 9 hours for a truck.

Yeah, people would swap the half digital High Country dash in on the pre refresh trucks but I believe even that needed aftermarket programming. This is a very different situation.

Sorry, can’t help you on the P/N. Just wondering if you’ve determined if this is even possible. I imagine, at a minimum, there are quite a few programming hurdles you’ll have to overcome and where such a service is offered.

I had my truck looked at for the SXM loading and preset issue that is in that TSB. Dealer said they updated the software but it didn’t help and they are supposed to get back to me. I looked in the settings and it’s currently W158. Any reason why it would be that instead of W164 if that’s the latest version?

Nope, it hasn’t really been something I’ve cared much about, I don’t really listen to the radio that much and if I do it’s only a couple of channels. I had the truck in for service so I asked them to take a look, hoping they would update the software and that’d take care of it.

I have a 2022 Silverado. I’ve been having issues with Sirius XM saying “loading audio” indefinitely when the vehicle is first started until I change it to another channel. The other issues I am having is when trying to set a favorite the tab will just go blank. The favorite is set and can be pressed to play the channel, but it’s always blank. Pressing the favorite tabs also occasionally resulted in glitchy behavior. This seemed to only be with Sirius channels. I had the dealer check it out, they updated to the latest software but it actually made the problem worse. Now favorites can’t be set at all and if you press one you just get “favorite is unavailable.” This is for both AM/FM channels and Sirius. They contacted GM to see what to try next and are going to get back to me. Just checking to see if anyone else has a similar issue.

I have a 2022 High Country, missing front and rear park assist that will be retrofitted later. Forward collision alert still works as it uses the camera mounted behind the windshield, at the rear view mirror and not the parking sensors on the bumper. It has activated for me so I know it’s working. I haven’t tested the automatic emergency braking (don’t plan to) but presumably it works too since it’s all the same system and has nothing to do with the parking sensors. Park assist really is only an alert when you’re parking the vehicle. I don’t believe it will brake for you and is not supposed to, this is different than auto braking to avoid rear ending someone. Currently, When I’m parking behind a car or up against another object, I just activate the front camera. Park assist will just remove that manual step and tell you when you’re getting close.

If you have the $50 credit, it means you don’t have it lol so it makes sense that the button does nothing. Front and rear park assist alerts you when you’re getting close to an object while parking. Nothing to do with cameras.

Pretty sure there have been posts on here about people swapping from the low trim headlights and grill to the LT+ stuff and it works fine. Not exactly a new idea.

We just talk about them here in the 19-21 section since they are mostly the same truck, built on the Same platform. Forums not dead, It’s just apparently too hard for the site admins to update the forum names and descriptions.

It’s normal today. You make enough posts on the subject, haven’t you realized by now that this is the way it is when ordering a new truck?

That one random Chevy also says it’s a 2019. The 3.0 wasn’t a thing in 2019 so I didn’t even mention it and it should be taken out of any statistical analysis. We’ll see if the new engine gets 9% lower fuel economy but a 9% increase in power doesn’t automatically mean that.

22.2 us mpg? the overall average for 2020 trucks says 23.1 and 2021 says 24.8 Fuelly needs to update their engine options for 2022, 3.0 isn’t listed yet.

I don’t believe that’s correct. You should be able to get retrofits done at any dealer.

Nice looking truck, I bet you paid a pretty penny for that thing with all the options, sitting on a lot available. I wish I had ordered a white one, although Dark Ash is growing on me. I dislike the wheels as well, both the premium 22s you have and standard 20s I have. The 20s on mine are nice wheels but they don’t really match the high country and I wasn’t about to pay a premium for the 22s that I didn’t like. I’ll change them out eventually, keeping my eye out for a used set of pre refresh HC wheels.
