  1. I think it looks good on the new High Country. That’s an improvement over the old style high country. I believe the new custom also looks better than the old custom. All other trims though I prefer the old grill.
  2. I did not mean GM had issues with digital clusters. Believe I said analog in the post. Yes I do believe that progress is made. my posts were not meant to say digital clusters are bad. I was just saying that things can fail neither analog nor digital are more or less probable to have an issue. I’m not at all skeptical of the digital clusters. Other posters in this thread are, not me, read again.
  3. I’ll bet that it is not possible to add that feature after the fact. GM won’t be willing to add the programming. You’re pretty much SOL, the dealer shafted you by forgetting to add the option. Maybe you can convince them to give you a discount or free service for your inconvenience, but nothing will get this truck a power up/down tailgate if GM won’t offer the reprogramming.
  4. Mid 2000s GM truck and suv clusters all fail.
  5. No word online that it’s been revised yet. I just had the reflash done a week ago and the bulletin was still rev B. Truck cranks twice as long as it used to.
  6. hmm.. wasn’t meant to be an argument. I genuinely would like to know if there is something. I guess there isn’t anything specific if it can’t be cited. We know the history of analog clusters failing, especially GM, but it plagues all makes. Digital cluster is obviously a different design with its own things that may fail. I’m just quite curious how one can be deemed better than the other in respect to reliability.
  7. No, you really can’t simply replace the “bulb” with something brighter. It is not your traditional bulb you are used to and not meant to be replaced. LED last for 10s of thousands of hours and are not likely to burn out in the average life of a truck. If one did burn out, you must replace the entire headlight assembly. I have no idea what’s out there on the aftermarket. There are likely aftermarket replacement headlight assemblies but anything that isn’t junk is going to be very expensive. To my knowledge no one makes any kind of modification for you to put in the housings already on your truck.
  8. I’m curious what proof you’ve got that there is a high probability the screen goes out before a gauge. What makes a screen more susceptible to failure?
  9. They are LED without a replaceable bulb. You are stuck with it. Add some auxiliary lighting.
  10. He doesn’t. They are rumors and not ones that came from GM. Just people talking on the internet. Im not saying that isnt a possibility, there just isn’t any information out there at all.
  11. You get the Nightshift Blue? I thought hard about that but ultimately decided not to go with that since at the time there weren’t any good photos or videos of it online. Share some photos
  12. There are a ton of 2022 refreshed trucks being built and delivered with LM2 in them.
  13. Yes, mid model year update. Cosmetic changes, interior changes, same platform, not an all new truck.
  14. No, normally they will not. You’re going to have to call them and ask them. Or get the order number from them and ask the chat on Chevy or GMC’s website.
  15. The vast majority of it will likely be the same engine. Looking forward to hearing what they are changing.
  16. Well it’s not as simple as just replacing bulbs since they are not replaceable like you may be used to (or like the low trim level halogen bulb housings). You only have a couple of options: -Get lights (whole headlight housings) from a high country. They are a “better” high intensity led light. -Find an aftermarket solution like a complete replacement housing or a retrofit of the OEM housing. I don’t know what’s out there for this, if anything. -Add some auxiliary lighting.
  17. Cool, but this thread is for refreshed 2022 1500s.
  18. Well that’s lame and I think whoever gave you that answer at the dealer is clueless. I’d push them for action and not just a bullshit cop out like they gave you. That’s obviously a serious issue and you could make a big deal out of it in the name of safety. I doubt anyone will have much information for you on this forum since this is all still pretty new.
  19. 1. That mileage is crap for a 3.0. Either something is wrong or you’ve got a heavy foot. Unloaded and under 70 for me is 27-28 (mine is 4wd). Around town is low 20s. 2. the back seat in a GM 2500 isn’t going to me different than your 1500
  20. I qualify for GM Supplier Pricing because of where I work. The dealer I ordered through is allowing me to take advantage of that. Most dealers are not. And you won’t get that discount here if you aren’t eligible. They give $1000 off MSRP to everyone though. Middle of nowhere Pennsylvania is a long drive from Mass for $1000 off but send me a direct message if you’re interested in the dealer name
  21. Hey better than the AT4X tho right? You can barely even tell it from a regular AT4 and at an even higher cost.
  22. Love that they went to a console shifter. My only gripe is they didn’t put a second stalk for wipers on the right side for the trucks that have a console shifter. The one on the left is too busy.
  23. I’m not sure. I looked around (not real hard) but didn’t find anything. Hopefully someone else has an answer because I’d like to know as well. It should be possible to see, I just don’t know how to do it in OBD fusion.
