  1. Don’t believe they are even doing that anymore. It’s just an ECU reflash now which gets rid of the issue.
  2. I could be wrong. But I believe if you have rain sensing wipers turned on in the settings, it will be active on any of the intermittent positions.
  3. Good thing he’s putting them on his truck and not yours.
  4. It will have a console shifter if you get bucket seats.
  5. Changes from 19-22LTD yes. But this is not new news. The changes were unveiled in September of 2021 and were implemented on the 2022.5 or 2022 “refresh”. These trucks have been on the road for 6ish months now. 2023 appearance both inside and out will not be different from the 2022 Silverado 1500 (with the exception of colors). 2022 Silverado 1500 is NOT to be confused with 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD. LTD were the “old” style.
  6. Not in dark ash metallic aka titanium rush metallic. New color for 2022.
  7. Dude is an Amsoil dealer, his post is just an advertisement. The procedure you plan on using should work just fine. If you’re just spot treating, shouldn’t be too detrimental if it doesn’t work out.
  8. There’s a thread about radio and speaker issues here: Range “resets” when you fill your tank. The system reads how much fuel is in the tank and your current average fuel economy to give you the Range number. So, when you fill up, it sees there is more fuel and adjusts the number accordingly. What about the lane keep assist??
  9. If the dealer won’t lock you in on a value with your trade and the price on the ordered truck, you don’t want to be doing business with that dealer. Decreasing a previously agreed upon trade value or putting a surprise “market adjustment” on the deal when the new truck shows up is ultra scummy behavior on the dealers part. Talk to the dealer you want to order from, ask them to value your trade, and agree that value will stay the same when your order arrives. They may not agree to it, nothing says they have to but a good, honest dealer will. I ordered in March, truck arrived in June. My trade value was agreed to at the time of order. I put 7k miles on it between March and June, the amount they gave me did not change. The value was a touch lower than what I could have got if trading it in immediately to account for the additional age and miles. However, I think that’s a fair deal for both parties involved. The new truck price was also locked in at time of order, I did not pay any of the MSRP increases that happened after my order was submitted.
  10. It is very widely publicized that GM has many thousands of vehicles that were “built short” sitting in lots waiting on one component or another. No one can tell you when the shortage for your specific truck will be resolved. Ordering a truck, or any vehicle for that matter, today is not something am impatient person should do. It’s not like this is a new thing, we’ve seen this for over a year.
  11. I like it. Put on some black 22s and debadge it.
  12. Nice, that will probably just cover the price increase MY23 is gonna get.
  13. It’s really not in the least bit hard. Takes a few minutes is all. Lots of good YouTube videos on the subject.
  14. There’s not a single button to put all 4 down on the door. But there are 4 individual buttons that are auto down. It takes no more time to push all 4 of them than it does to reach over and push the one in the center console.
  15. I dont consider it an inconvenience. I just question why it’s there at all. To me, it’s a complete waste. The buttons on the drivers door auto down the windows just fine, I don’t need ANOTHER way to do it. Especially not the button with the most real estate on the console. Give me something actually useful to put there.
  16. roll all 4 down a few inches? I didn’t think you could go any amount other than all the way. Maybe with the FOB? Definitely not with the button, it’s all or nothing:
  17. If you have 5100s that are capable of adding lift to level the truck, Why would you set the 5100s at stock height and then add a leveling kit? (Which is presumably some spacers that are meant to go on the stock strut)
  18. I don’t get the button either. Ok sure put a button somewhere, apparently people like the feature, but the biggest button in the entire truck?? Why?? You can’t auto roll them back up because gm decided it was not safe.
  19. There is zero context or back story in that “video”. Do you even know what was wrong with the engine. Not lifters or they likely wouldn’t be replacing the whole thing. 1 off problems happen to every engine and every manufacturer. Doesn’t mean ******
  20. I had the same issue on those two pieces as well. Must be something about the material they are made of, none of the other trim pieces had this issue for me. I think I put Adam’s VRT on mine and that seemed to work well, likely not as long lasting as the Cerakote stuff. That’s definitely the better solution.
  21. You didn’t give much information other than you’re seeing deals advertised in Texas. I was just wondering if you had even the dealership’s name running the ads to give people a place to start.
