  1. Thanks for going the extra mile there. That information will really help folks find the deals you speak of.
  2. I’m sure other members may appreciate leads on said deals. Care to share?
  3. Have you been living under a rock? MSRP is about all you can ask for today. You’ll be lucky in some parts of the country if the dealers not asking for extra on top of that.
  4. Yeah, it is silly, but I get it. The z71 badge only comes on the truck if you get the z71 package, obviously. They would either have to send a black z71 badge with every blackout kit (lots of waste and potential for dealers to install it when the truck doesn’t have z71) or deal with the logistics headache of determining when a truck should get sent with a black z71 in the blackout kit and adjusting the price accordingly. Easier for them just to not deal with it.
  5. I believe you’re correct. A black z71 badge isn’t included in the blackout package.
  6. It’ll happen. GM will have a lot of trouble for themselves if it doesn’t. Retrofit on certain features was promised to a lot of people. It just may take a while to get it done. Not just Silverado/Sierra, it’s been all GMs
  7. Can you show me a painted set that comes in Dark Ash Metallic/Titanium Rush Metallic? This is a new color for 22 refresh. From 19-22ltd you could get color matched caps. The high country trim (and maybe other trims??) came from the factory with color matched caps. For 22 refresh the high country comes with chrome caps. It just doesn’t seem like painted will be an option for my color. If I had a color that has been around a while, sure.
  8. Thanks, that’s a good price, it probably cost at least that to have them PPF’d. I’d take you up on it but I just got a set of plain black ones here locally. While black is fine, ultimately I’d like a set of color matched ones but it doesn’t look like they are doing it anymore.
  9. It’s not that you have to change the UCA, it will go together fine. The upper control arm, more specifically the upper ball joint, can’t handle the extra lift, it puts it on a harsh angle. You need an aftermarket UCA with more forgiving geometry at the ball joint. As far as shocks, some kits just get there differently like using a new spring/shock/strut/etc. Not all leveling kits are just spacers.
  10. I would have traded you for the chrome ones off my 2022 high country.
  11. How many miles were on the 20 when you traded it? I just traded in my 2021 Silverado 3.0 with 33000 miles for a 2022 refresh. The engine in the new one is WAY quieter.
  12. I’m not sure how pricing will work if the order is converted to a 23. There will undoubtably be a base price increase. Also, who knows what the price for LZ0 will be. For all we know it’s way more than LM2 and if that’s the case you can’t expect the dealer to honor the price for an LM2 if that’s not what you’re getting.
  13. My 2022 high country showed up over the weekend. Not much for options except LM2 and a bunch of little stuff. Only missing steering column lock and f/r park assist. Current MSRP was just over $68k, paid original GMS pricing of $62.3k. ordered 3/7 accepted early to mid April sometime built 4/25 delivered 6/25
  14. I really doubt you’ll be getting a 2022. That order will never get accepted. The LM2 has been on constraint (not available to order) for a few weeks now. I’m surprised your dealer even “ordered” it. It will likely be pushed to a 2023 with the new LZ0. NOTHING has been released from GM on this engine other than it’s a turbocharged 3.0 I6 diesel. This is IT, everything you read on the internet today is speculation. Wait for GM to release information about the engine before you worry about what extra emissions stuff it may have. Nothing will change with the interior and exterior aside from some color changes. Yes it will have a console shifter. There will likely be a MY price increase. Talk to your dealer about whether or not you’ll have to pay it.
  15. Nothing has changed on the 22 refresh that would affect wheel fitment. Everything is still the same since 2019.
  16. UCA I don’t believe are changed at all So any one that fits the other trucks will work on your X. You can (and should) add an aftermarket UCA ala carte. Plenty of people are making kits work that are just designed for the regular at4. There are apparently not any differences aside from the fancy shocks.
  17. What if you just put it in tow mode
  18. You need to work this out with the dealer you’re buying from. If they are charging you the higher MSRP they are screwing you. They very well know there’s a refund available on sold orders that have had a price increase. If they don’t give that refund to you, guess who gets it.
  19. Sounds like you’re getting screwed by the dealer. Have you even tried talking the dealer about it? No way I would have accepted that when buying the truck. They are probably pocketing the MSRP refund you’re supposed to get.
  20. You need to contact GM. You should not have paid the MSRP increases.
  21. Shipping must be slow currently. My order was built 4/25 and was originally supposed to show up 6/7. Dealer told me today it’s sitting in the next state over, they hope to get it by the end of the month.
  22. It must be for you. Maybe you just don’t know what diameter means. That or you just try too hard to troll.
  23. Pretty hard to tell what you’re trying to show us. Looks like the left side had to be fixed and has a more pronounced transition between the chip guard and the normal paint??? Damage during shipping happens. If your not happy with the way it was fixed, say something about it.
  24. Reservation was only a GMC thing. I have a Chevy coming and am still paying the price at order, no reservation, not a cent out of my pocket so far. and you mention build/production dates. I’m pretty sure that is a typo in the article you guys are mentioning. People are paying (or should be) the price at time of ORDER PLACEMENT, not at time of production. It says this right in your GMC emails.
