  1. Not sure if this has anything to do with it: https://gmauthority.com/blog/2022/12/chevy-silverado-1500-recalled-for-drls-that-dont-deactivate/
  2. I haven't. I haven't had any issues with hot trans temps. Someone posted this somewhere so I saved it for future reference.
  3. Haven't lowered any full size trucks but lowered a bunch of my S10/Sonomas and always used Belltech stuff. McGaughys has been around for quite a while and is a well known brand. I have seen a lot of high end builds using their parts, so they can't be bad.
  4. Probably not something you want to do since it's under warranty, but this is an option: https://www.thoroughbreddiesel.com/125069000/
  5. Here's the article I remembered: https://gmauthority.com/blog/2022/07/chevy-silverado-gets-service-update-for-aero-shutter-wiring-harness-issue/ Affected vehicles: 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 Limited Number of affected vehicles: GM did not specify how many vehicles are affected by this particular problem. Owners should: GM will likely notify owners of affected vehicles and instruct them to make an appointment with their dealer. 6. There was a recall for the wiring on certain trucks as well due to improper routing of the shutter wiring causing it to rub through and short out.
  7. I'm not sure there is anything else considering the ZR2 uses the standard bumper and has dual exhaust with the same tips as the trucks with the bumper cutouts have. The chrome tips are bolted to the bumper and the actual OEM exhaust dumps into the tips and isn't bolted or welded to the chrome tips.
  8. Why wouldn't you just find a take off bumper with the cutouts if you're going to use the factory size openings in the first place? Find a late model salvage yard near you and see what they have.
  9. Interesting those are a solid one piece lug. All the ones I have are a steel lug with a stainless cap on them.
  10. I wasn't aware of anyone making any for the T1 trucks yet.
  11. I have about 4 or 5 sets of just plain lug nuts I've bought off ebay between extras for my Silverado I used them on my 08 Avalanche that I had a set of these Grazen 20" wheels on. The locking lugs are both the tall ones with the 3 rings near the base.
  12. The smaller ones are most likely M12x1.5 and not M14x1.5. Both sets I have are the same long style. I have black 20's that were an option on the Custom Trail Boss.
  13. Must be another company I saw that wanted $1200 for one like that. I think that one was made in Europe somewhere. I have a High Country heated wheel I swapped onto my Custom. As far as I know you can only make it work if something is enabled in the BCM. No dealer will do that. Hell, I can't even get the dealer I bought my truck from to enable my fog lights because I didn't buy the kit from their parts department, even though it is a GM kit with the code to program them.
  14. You didn't splurge for the shift light and whatever other functions they offer? I wondered how these were in person. I saw them while looking for stuff after I ordered my truck back in 21. If I remember they were about $1200+ back then.
  15. Yeah, the locking ones are shaped differently at the top but the cone at the bottom is what is important. It is a 60 degree seat. I have those locks on my truck. I bought 2 sets of them. One set didn't have the paperwork with it to order a spare key. The other set was still in the package and has the code to get another key. I have put both sets on my truck with no issue.
  16. There's nothing specific about those wheels and lug nuts. All Silverado/Sierra Tahoe/Yukon etc use the same lugs and locks. M14 x 1.50 thread. https://www.ebay.com/itm/235185853935?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=qXB5CduJRR-&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=KGxaaEgXQQK&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  17. If it weren't for the ever increasing sticker price and now double or more interest rate, I'd trade my 21 Trail Boss with the 6.2 for the diesel. I'm averaging 15mpg and best mpg ever was 20.5.
  18. Who let the ricer loose under your hood?
  19. Yeah they dropped the 6.2 in the Custom in 22. I'm not sure if it was available in the pre refresh trucks or not. For sure was not available on the refresh trucks. The 4.3 was dropped as the base engine and the 2.7 turbo was made the base engine. I'm glad I was able to order my 21 Custom with the 6.2 10 speed vs the 5.3 6 speed.
  20. Only if you have the Bose system.
  21. I forgot about the VPN issue. It specifically mentions that if you have one you need to turn it of while using AAWireless.
  22. I'm using a Motorola One 5G UW Ace running Android 12 and it works fine. There was just a software and firmware update to AAWireless last week.
  23. Factory pressure is 41psi cold. I'm not sure exactly at what PSI they set the low tire pressure warning.
  24. If you have a tall vehicle like our trucks, I have one of these combination jack/jack stand I bought to take on trips to use instead of the stock jack. https://www.powerbuilt.com/products/3-ton-all-in-one-jackstand-bottle-jack
  25. Yeah, the Pollak one is pretty much identical to the Curt one I have.
