At least one of my vents also falls down by itself. Irritating for sure, and I hope to find a way to fix it.

Thanks for posting the bulletin about those bolts in the fuse block. I checked mine and all four were loose. It took each of them about 3/4 of a turn to get them to the spec of 53 inch/lbs. I’ve been having some intermittent electrical gremlins and CEL codes, so we’ll see if this helps.

If you got a smokin’ deal on the purchase price, try pricing out an offer for Carvana or Vroom to buy it from you. They seem to be paying good money for our trucks right now. They’ll buy mine from me for more than I paid in November last year.

Does King makes shocks for a stock 2019 Sierra 4x4? I can’t seem to find a fitment guide for them.

The LoMAX has a quick release to remove the cover. But the rails stay attached to the truck bed.

Assuming you’re talking about the LoMAX, can you please explain what you mean about the clips that you mentioned? I installed my LoMAX a while back and don’t recall installing any clips. Mine has a slight leak at the front corners, so wondering if that could be the issue. Thanks.

In my experience, this is very common of leaf sprung trucks. I’ve owned many trucks from various brands, and I’ve had to either grease and/or replace those pads in most of them to stop the noises that develop. I consider it to be part of normal maintenance.

Sounds like normal injector tick to me.

Theoretically, it shouldn’t be looked at as a “first MY” truck because it’s just a styling refresh, and maybe an updated interior. Again theoretical, the main bugs should be worked out by the 2022 MY. Theoretically I will likely be disappointed in my optimism. I like theories.

+1 If you lightly rest your foot on the brake pedal, you can feel it doing it’s thing a few minutes after turning off the ignition.

Exactly! Those saying that our trucks are solely designed to be working vehicles aren’t paying much attention IMO. Big wheels, soft sprung suspension, creature comforts of a semi-luxury vehicle, short beds, etc. tell me that manufacturers are designing half ton trucks for a different purpose than in years passed.

No not at this point. I only have ~7000 miles on mine. But if it gets worse over time, then I’ll take it in before warranty runs out.

My 2019 Sierra does this as well. I have no idea what it is, but your description is spot on.

It’s interesting how different our experiences can be. I came from a 2016 F150 in Ruby Red (a beautiful color!) that had tons of small rock chips on the bumper and hood. I noticed they started appearing with low miles and never stopped getting worse. I now have a 2019 Sierra in Dark Sky with very very few chips after over 6,000 miles. I don’t know if different colors are more durable or what, but the paint on my Sierra is very impressive compared to my F150.

Not following what you’re saying... Are you saying that if someone swapped out their AAM axles for the GM axles, their VIN would change? This is a very confusing statement.

I’m really sorry for your situation and it sucks that it’s costing you two new tires. However, as you said, it’s specifically called out in your owners manual. I guess it’s a lesson for everyone not to take the word of a service tech when it contradicts the manual.

Based on my personal experience and several other posts that I’ve seen, these trucks are just super sensitive to battery drain. The exact same thing happened to me a few months back when I listened to the radio with the engine off for about 45 minutes. I got the same group of 4 (I think) codes. A few drive cycles later they disappeared. For the poster above, this would also make sense for a brand new truck that sat in the lot. Also applicable when the service techs perform the recall. The procedure specifically states that they need to keep the battery on a charger for the duration of the calibration upgrade. I’d bet that many don’t though.

Same here. The most recent F150 that I was referring to a few posts up was also ruby red. Beautiful color, but the paint chips were ridiculous. My Dark Sky SLT so far has much better paint.

Does anyone have this supposed TSB for the spoiler bolts? I have the one for the window, but didn’t know one existed for bolts on our trucks.

I’d say that the spoiler is ONE source of the leaks. The other is clearly the sliding window frame cracking.
