Navigation Question On 2006 Avy

My 2006 Avy has some odd things and I am wondering if updating the disk will help. An example is my daughters address in Indianapolis is not in the database. But when I drive to her house the streets in the subdivision are there. But it will not give me "detailed turn by turn directions". Once I get to the main road outside her subdivision it says the above. even though the street is there as I drive on it.

I have found this in more than one place. If the roads are yellow, there is no detail, and you cannot input the address. I will try the upgraded disk, but want to see what others think before I spend $200.

Should be able to get one cheaper on ebay fwiw......

Ok, looked at GM and they show two options for a nav disk. Ebay has a million, so I am kinda nervous that I cannot get the right one. But GM does not even have them right now. Found a couple of downloadable ones, but again compatability, and that is most likely illegal....

I am guessing the 2009 means it is the latest disc, but don't really know. I left them a message. Maybe I will figure it out...
