Hey guys, I have the head unit, and the rest is coming in the mail!!! I am very excited, but this is fairly complex with all the adapters, etc. So Here is what I have so far.

Items purchased-

1. SWI-PS - PAC STEERING WHEEL CONTROL INTERFACE $46.50

2. 170° WIDE ANGLE COLOR REAR VIEW BACKUP CCD CAMERA*MS1 79.99 (was gonna skip backup camera, but for the price.. I couldn't pass it up, it got mostly good feedback on ebay.. my hopes are not up too much on this one!)

3. DOUBLE-DIN Radio Dash Installation Kit (Metra 95-3305) 4.74

4. PERIPHERAL GMCOL29 CAR GM RADIO REPLACEMENT INTERFACE

74.99

5. Pioneer Avic-X710BT 749.00

I figure I will need an antenna adaptor (Chrysler i believe), and about a 25ft RCA cable and that should about do it.

Any and all help/ information/ advice and information on items I may have overlooked will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

I will also make a step by step record and post it of my experience if anyone is interested, I didn't find much detailed help online anywhere, at least not in one place.

Thanks in advance guys! (and ladies too)

Which radio unit are you replacing? I'm looking to replace my 09 Silverado am/fm/cd (RPO UQ3) with a nav unit. So far I've been looking at OE options, but would certainly be interested in a workable non-OE option such as yours.

Everything I've read, with the UQ3 option, there is no external amp so with an OE nav radio upgrade I'd need to add an amplifier. Theres a big thread on this topic over at the Chevy enthusiast forum:
