Throttle Body Velocity Stack

I just noticed in jegs catalog page 170 bottom left corner, they show a velocity stack. to help improve airflow. and for 29.99 there saying there is some actual hp and torque gains. has anyone used this if not what do you think? Thanks

Could be worth a little horsepower at WFO, but likely nothing at any other throttle position. Doing a timed 0-60 or something similar may tell you. It's 30 bucks, so it's about what a new airfilter costs. Give it a try and do some tests. Personally, I doubt you'll be able to measure a difference. But you'll feel like it's knocked a second of the quartermile time.

If I remember right, most of the newer engines don't really gain much on stuff like than. The one engine that I remember that got some actual gains 5-10hp?? was the old 4.0L straight 6 in the jeeps. But like was said on the earlier post for 30bucks who knows, maybe give it a try.
