Upgrading To Aftermarket Nav

I have an 09 Sierra and would like to add navigation to it. I do not have the Bose system with amplifier, so I have decided on an aftermarker unit. I have read through the forum and seen some installs similar to what I want, but I do have a few questions.

This is my parts list so far:

- Kenwood DNX7140

- PAC SWI-JACK

- Kenwood KCA-iP301V (IPOD)

- Chrysler Antenna Adapter

- PAC OS-4

I really like the factory bluetooth in the 09 Sierra. Is this tied into OnStar? Will it still work with my steering wheel controls with an aftermarket unti?

Second, I want to keep my XM subscription. Is the XM unit built into the factory head unit? Will the factory XM antenna plug up to the new Unit with XM. Prefer not to have to have to install new antenna.

The OS-4 description left me with questions on the XM:

"PAC's OS-4 interface lets you replace the factory radio in select 2006-up GM vehicles with premium or Bose® audio systems, while retaining use of OnStar®, all factory warning chimes, and audible turn signal indicators. You'll also retain the use of your factory-installed XM satellite radio, as well as the 5.1 audio system in equipped Cadillac vehicles."

Have 09 Silverado with std am/fm/cd radio, no bose. I'm installing a Pioneer Avic X910BT HU. Not sure about the Kenwood, but I would guess its unlikely to have built in XM. For most aftermkt HUs I've looked at, all require external XM module with antenna (OE antenna might work with an adapter).

I'm using a GMOS-LAN-01 box for retaining onstar, chimes, RAP, T/S, et al. Don't know much about the OS4 except I think it does the same things as the GMOS but will also work for bose. GMOS-01 adapter will not work for bose.
