New Old Guy With Newer Truck....

I am still surprised at what I have done, but the decision was a good one. I finally gave up on driving older vehicles. I had a 1970 Chevy CST 10 for the last four years and a 1978 El Camino SS for 6 years before that. My last car payment was in 1992.

Well I changed all that last month....traded in the '70 on a 2005 GMC Sierra SLE Z71. Couldn't have made a better choice...I LOVE THIS TRUCK!

I realized I didn't have time anymore to work on the old ones and faced with a 60 mile commute to the new jobsite in FW [about an 8 month remodeling job], mileage and functioning AC became very important....quickly!

So I am a newbie not only to the site but to newer trucks. I catch on fast cause I am an old hot rodder, but will probably need some guidance along the way to enjoying the 'new' truck....which I might add is the first vehicle I have ever owned that will be left factory fresh.
