Dic Silverado

I have a 2007 silverado classic crew cab lt1, i was wondering if it was possible to changemy current dic which showes odom, trip, engin hrs, to a DIC that shows gas milage oil life ect,.

 

 

i need to know does my truck have the necessary stuff andall i need is the steering wheel to run it or do i need more please help

i see how they did that but i have a silverado classic itis the 06 body style the dic controls would be on the steering wheel in my body style so dose that mean i have to buy a steering wheel and thats it ??

I have an 06 Sierra CC that didn't have the extra stuff on the DIC from the factory. It requires a new "clock spring" or steering harness, a new steering wheel with the buttons on it, and a trip to a dealer that can pull their head out of their ass to actually try to reprogram the truck. It CAN be done, the project took a LONG TIME for me because of funds. The clock spring is the most expensive part.

 

I love it, I got a few extra cool features out of it, like the curb feature that tilts both or just one (your choice) side mirrors when the truck is placed in reverse.
