Hello all, I'm Jeremiah. I will be taking ownership of a beaten up 1979 Chevrolet C/K10 Short stepside. It's been sittin' for a while, due to a bad steering column. My parents had replaced the column with an unknown (to me) column, and now it's not getting any power. I'm almost positive that it is the wiring, as it would start just fine with the old column. I finally got tired of it sittin' there rusting away, so I'm going to save it. I told them that I'm going to fix it, and take it home. I got no arguments from them, so I get myself a free 1979 Chevy!!! It's not a bad truck, yeah it needs some work, 'cause before it got parked it was the work truck. Needs a few new body/bed mounts/bushings, and quite a bit of body work. It's a 4x4 and we're country boys. ;) It has a rebuilt 350 with a few bolt-on additions, Edlebrock High Performance Intake, and an Edlebrock Carb, full exhaust (about worthless, 'cause I have to reweld the pipes. It's paired with a 4 speed manual, 4" lift (blocks...), 32" Goodyear A/T's. It'll be a project, but also a DD once I get it running, as my girlfriend and I only have one car right now, which leaves me not being able to travel back and forth to work, and keeping a job.
