Could i per say mate a GM NV1500 gearbox to a 350SBC ?

 

My friend found a really good S10 with a 2,2 POS engine, but we want to build it up to specs 8)

 

Could we screw the NV1500 to a 350 ?

I cannot remember why, when my cuz did a V8 swap on his S10, that he did not use the 5 speed.

 

When you do the conversion, buy the kit for it, makes life so much easier. I mean motor mounts and the like, exhaust too.
