So 90 gmc 5.7 700r It ran great until it stalled and would not start. So replaced ingniton modules, started right up, backed out and stalled. now a year later any many parts replaced still stalls. I first tryied different brands of igniton modules. Didnt help. Then a temp sensor, then a throtle postion sensor. Then bumped up idle still stalls. it runs great down the road. but when at a stop it dies. starts right back up. But any sort of load like move tires or even turn on heater will make it sall faster at a stop. I have the idle very high but in gear it will slowly idle down until it dies. Help!!!

First off, welcome aboard!

Secondly, I had this happen to my old 92. It would run pretty well, but would stall at stops so we would pop into N before stopping and that would be enough to keep her running. Turned out to be a worn distributor...
