Electric Brake Issue

I installed and electric brake controler on my 2002 chev z71 silverado 1500 last week. It a plug and play with the harness that plug in under the dash. If i use the manual slide on the controller the brake work fine, but when i push the pedal nothing. In the instructions it say to put a 30amp fuse in the fuse panel thats under the hood so i did and still nothing. Now when I use the slide in dims all the dash lights. If anyone has any ideals i'm all ears.......Thanks Murph

It sounds like you have a ground issue. If I remember right I had to add a jumper wire from my brake pedal switch. I have a 02' 2500hd and I know I was pissed when I was hooking mine up, I even got the plug from GM. I will try and look tonight and reply tomorrow.
