WTD Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 has any one installed the RC under strut leveling kit without taking the lower ball joint, tie rod bar and stabilizer bar apart. Is there an easier way of doing it? any tricks to installing? I only want to lift the front 1 to 1.5 inches. I have an 09 GMC 1500 4X4. thanks for any advice.
03blackz71 Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 I have installed this kit and I only disconnected the sway bar end link. And that was it. Did it twice this way with no issues.

Done, disconnected the sway bar and also had to loosen the uppper strut bolts, everything went well, took me alittle longer on the 1st side I did, but the other side went very smooth, thanks everyone for the information.
ap0352 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Did mine today by only removing the wheels and the sway bar bolts. Since I didn't mess with anything else, do I still need to have an alignment done. It drives the same and doesn't pull to either side.
