Denso?

Hi just looking to upgrade my bose system to the nav but i have found that most used units are delphi. What determined if the truck had the delphi or the denso? Is there any difference? Thanks

As far as I know in general, the GMT-900 trucks are all Denso units. Delphi's (they look exactly the same) are used in Acadias and other vehicles. I don't think they are interchangable either.

Well i just bought a denso unit off ebay and im scared i may have burnt myself. It came out of a 09 sierra but has the part number 20790838 and i cant find any info on this unit. The only thing i have come up with is it may have come out of a non bose truck if thats even possible. I have a 2008 with a bose system and i sure hope its gonna work. Has anyone seen this part number before?
