Wheel Refinishing Question

What would be needed to take a GM 20 in aluminum clearcoated wheel and turn it into one of the Polished wheels. The GMC has the stock 20s both ways. I don t see too many polished one but they are nice. Aren t the inserts painted on the first type? GrumpyAreo, you should know this one after all you ve been thru with your wheels. Going to look at a set Wed..to be used as summer wheels.

I found a local (los angeles) place that chromes the wheels like you have. They looked really great. I think it was just over $700 with your exchanged wheels.
