Anyone have any experience with JL's stealthbox for the NNbs Crew Cab? I'm extremely interested in one since they allow for 2, 10's under the driver's side rear seat and still have room to store things under the passenger side seat.

I'd like to hear one before I pull the trigger but no one around here has one. Any suggestions?

I have the JL Audio stealth box. I have the extend cab so I cannot attest to the particular box. I had one in my previous truck and put a new one in this truck. a NBS body.

personally I think JLAudio makes the best equipment going. may be just to my ears but the bottom line for me is I will not have anything else in my vehicles

I have an 2009 extended cab and the box that goes in the place of the jump seat. It's pretty easy to put in and it is encased by the stock pieces. You can't even tell it's there. I have not heard "mine" since I have not had the rear seat back removed to see if the AMP is going to fit behind it, if it does you will not see anything and still have space for stuff under the seat. i am prety sure the AMP i have picked out is going to Fit, it's a small Alpine digital amp, my second choice is a Pioneer GM-8400 mono-300 wat RMS amp which is small also.

Before buying the stealth box I listened to one with the Pioneer amp with inputs taken from the rear speakers and a line level device that knocks it down to low level inputs installed. The factory single disc LT1 system was in the truck and it flat rocked hard!!! I listen to old classic rock, new modern rock a little new R&B top 40 type stuff you name it!! I listeded to this thing with Kiss, Buck Cherry, some of the little womans country music, some rap disc from the shop that had bass note that really hit hard. It played my Stones, Zepplin, The Clash and White stripes MP3 very well. The amp i heard had base boost control which was nice and mounted right next to the bottom stoarge box key where the unit sits.

It's a stealth system all right until it cranks up.....nothing stealth about it then!! I can hardly wait to save some cash for the AMP and it's install.
