Replacing the LS/2 Goodyears with some Cooper Zeon LTZs they come in 275/55/20 (stock) and 305/50/20 which is .10" taller but 1.2" wider. I want the width if I can and minor rubbing is fine...

I know with 305/55/20 I am putting a 2' level and 3' bodylift to avoid any rubbing.. not sure about your situation though

I have 305/50/20's General Grabber AT2's on 20x10 negative offset wheels. Have the 2" level kit, exept I also got 2" higher blocks in the back so I may have a bit more clearance. Long story short, I needed to get out the sawzall and cut a bit of metal. Still would like a bit more clearance but for the most part no rubbing now.

If you are on stock rims with stock ride height, stick with the 275's. A properly offset wheel could accommodate the 305's but the stockers without a leveling kit will rub.

What size did you go with? I am in the same situation and want to know the results. I was thinking 295-50-20, but I see a larger selection for the 305's. I want a larger ( wider ) than stock street tire.

Thanks

I haven't yet. It takes me months to decide where to get gas let alone what tires to buy. hahaha I sure see avalanches and yukon/tahoes fitting the 305s easier. Must clear the fenders better.
