JL Audio Stealth Box

Just a word of warning, this box is great sounding, but if you have the tan interior, plan on having the box recovered because JL's tan does not match chevy's tan at all.

I am looking into getting a stealth box for my 2000 ext. cab silverado.  I know yours is the console style but do you like the sound that it produces?  Does it give you good bass?  Also how much did you pay, i can get an unloaded backseat model for $175 unloaded.  I have know clue on the prices of these boxes so i was wondering if this is a good price.

are you sure it is really a stealthbox for that price. All of the stealthboxes come loaded with a sub, i think it is a 12w3 in that particular box, I have heard it and it sounds really good!!!!!

 

If it is unloaded it may be a vantage box which is just an uncovered black box with no driver

Yeah i believe it was a stealth box.  It was loaded but i ask how much for it unloaded and they said $175.  It is for $299 loaded.  Are these good prices?

Hey thanks for the link.  The box i was looking at was an advantage.  The stealth boxes were a bit over $400.  I think i might try and pick up that used one or get a new MTX dual 10" Thunderform off ebay for $287.  Not sure yet though.  Anybody know what would be my better choice?

i really would try to get the stealthbox, I have always had great luck with Jl audio products. The MTX is not bad, but if were me, I would hold out for the Jl
