Lt Vs Ltz?

Hey guys, more questions for ya tonight:

LTZ vs LT. What's the big difference???

I kind of like the way the LT interior looks (more storage, but the looks of it), but the LTZ must have some better perks???

I mean, I know you can get leather and a center console in the LT, but what else is there to it?

Is a loaded LT still cheaper in cost to an LTZ???

What I'm looking for:

-Leather (heated and/or cooled)

-Bose stereo (with subwoofer)

-Power driver seat (with memory if possible!)

-Power rear-sliding window

-Remote start

-Trip Computer

-Auto-dimming rearview mirror

-Maybe navigation (I'm undecided... I've always liked physical buttons on a radio, as touchscreen gets tough when changing stations, but the steering wheel controls may change this)

If you are getting leather get an LTZ unless you dont like the woodgrain dash

If you want the heated seats with memory you must get the LTZ,Heated/memory seats are not available with the LT trim level.

I should add that GM does have an accessory kit out were you can add heat to the LT's seats, but it must be added-on "afterward"

Ah, I see... I guess LTZ it is.

I guess it'll be easier to find... Although the power sliding rear window seems to be scarce...

I would say depending on how bad you need the truck, If you know the exact options you want and really wany all of them I would order one with them as opposed to looking for it on a lot somewhere. Although from the options you listed the only ones I think dont come standard on the LTZ are the PWR slide rear window and Nav system. Mabye someone else can tell you if you can get cooled seats on a Silverado. I know there were a couple guts who added them.

I've always wanted to order a truck... But I've never really understood how it works...

Does ordering affect the price? I mean, they may not be as motivated to give me a deal if the truck isn't on their lot.

What about time? I know guys ordering wranglers were waiting anywhere between 2 and 7 months! I don't know if I could wait THAT long...

And if there's something wrong with the truck??? If I order it, can I still cancel my order?

I love everything about the LTZ/SLT except for the wood grain dash. That is why I went with an SLE with leather. I had heated leather seats on my last truck and hardly ever used them being in Texas.

I think you can cancle your order anytime from what I have heard up until you take delevery/. As for ordering it Im sure someone here can tell you the process. I wanted to order my last truck but just happened to see one on the lot I was happy with. Good luck either way you decide to go! At least if you do order you know you will have exactly what you want.

Eh, they're much more necessary in Massachusetts... Especially with a whiny girlfriend...

I want to order it just so I can be the first one to drive it!

I remember being a young kid when my parents ordered their first car. I was maybe 7 or 8... and I remember the anticipation of going to pick it up. As soon as the phone rang, we headed to the dealership, only to have the guys peel the plastic off the seat for us!

Nothing like having a brand new truck with nothing on the odometer!

My 2010 is currently on order, I am waiting for it to ship from the trainyard in Chicago.

I have ordered my last 3 vehicles (00 silverado, 08 tahoe and 10 silverado)

My current truck is being purchased at the gm supplier price (I have a gm supplier code) which is alright, I am comfortable with the pricing, could I do better, probably on a truck that was on the lot I could get some better pricing but I ordered exactly what I want and I am willing to pay for that. I did order the sliding rear window.

Would not make any difference if you order or buy off the lot someone at least 6+ people will drive the vehicle before you pick it up.

I would definitely switch out the wood grain dash for the brushed aluminum. It looks 10000000000x better. That was if I had the LTZ/SLT.... Instead I'm a broke college kid and went with the SLE2
