Condensation Inside Windshield

Hi All,

Have a 2008 HD Sierra that builds up ice on the INSIDE of the windshield during winter ever since I bought it. Takes 15 minutes of full blast defrost to get rid of it so I can drive away. Painful. Dealer says, oh well, don't know why.

Any suggestions to get to the bottom of this?

It DID have a major leak right off the assembly line that took 'em 2 months to fix. They SAY they pulled up and dried everything. It does feel dry now. But why the condensation??

Have you cleaned the inside of your windshield in a while? Hit it with some Stoners Glass cleaner and newspaper, you would be amazed how much gunk gets on there. The residue is what the water is sticking to.

I have the same issue. There is definitely moisture in your cab. I learned a little trick. Try leaving your window open just barely a crack. that will help.

Actually yes, because it gets in such a mess with streaks every time I check to see if the build up is on the inside!
