Rim Question?

Hi all,

 

I was looking at a set of 20x9 XD Badlands for my 2007 Sierra CC 2WD New Body, and they come in a -12 or a +18 offset and I was wondering if I end up getting them which one should I go with? I have a 2" Fabtech leveling kit on the truck now and was planning on getting a 3" P.A body lift with some 33" tire. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!!

In 2 weeks I'll be putting on some 20x9 XD Monsters on my 2009 CC. I'll have same setup but diff brands (2" RC level and 3" Zone BL with 33" Terra Grapplers) I actually ordered my rims today through the shop that's doing the install and I went with the +18 offset. The guy told me the +18 will cause the wheels and tires to sit more flush within the wheel well. the -12 offset will cause them to stick out an inch or two. Really depends on what look you want to go with I think.

Oh and the advice I was given on this site when I asked this question was never go below +12 or above +30. Goodluck!

From reading stuff online the -12 is supposed to have a deeper dish rim, I really like the deep dish look and dont mind that they stick out because I have seen several lifted trucks with tires that stick out and I think it looks good....I guess my concern was more of the "will it rub" factor with the -12. I have seen several posts that recommend to stay between 4-5 of backspace on a 20x9 wheel and the -12 are a 4.something backspace so I guess it should be ok?
