Trimming the factory antenna

Recommended Posts

You have a number of choices:

1. Let it slap the lintel until it wears a slot that you can aim for.

2. Let air out of the tires - remember the little kid and the bridge story.

3. Unscrew it each time you put the truck in the garage.

4. Clip it - with or without benefit of clergy - this will mean that you can only recieve the lowere numbered stations.

5. Charge for sigs to get cash for a Billet.

Hope this helps :D

Gandolph, thanks for the suggestions, that'll be fuve bucks for your sig :D

Tom, I'll check w/ advance auto and see what I can find, sounds like a good idea.  Also, I've got Joe checking his on his blazer to see if it's shorter, may just get one of those if it'll work.

I would just look for a replacement one, and not hack the old one off, but if you do, you can't hurt anything, except it's looks.  I see a Tahoe with a shiny short aftermarket antenna once in a while, and it looks good.
