Throttle Position Sensor?

I have a 1999 GMC K3500 4X4 old body style 4 door longbed with a 7.4 4L80-E trans. Volant CAI Airaid throttle body spacer superchip tuner no other mods. I'm getting a check engine light with the OBII scanner I'm getting a Throttle position sensor input low? Could this cause the transmission to shift hard and not consistant? Also the check engine light doesn't come on until the truck is warm and driving awhile...

It sure can cause problems with shifting. Replace the sensor.
