2009 Duramax

I've got an 09 duramax 2500 as my work truck. I am going to be taking this truck to a remote area in the next month and the truck will be running on location for approximately 90 days. Is there a way to regen these trucks while they are parked? Its going to be very difficult to drive truck for 20 mins at speed as roads are narrow, winding ice roads.

 

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

According that I'm going to say no. It sounds like you might have some trouble up there.

I've been reading that under the conditons you describe, it will not enter a regen as programmed by the factory. This summer, I will have a similar situation with my 09 where I anticipate a lot of slow driving and idling. Some posters here or maybe on other fora have indicated they can force a regen with their programmer. Still have not figured out which one can do this.
