Offset Of Oem 18" Z71 Rims?

Guys,

 

What is the width and offset of the OEM, 18" rims on the GMT900 Z71 trucks? I want to dump my 20's and buy a set of american racing 18's with Michelin A/T tires but I don't want the tires to be sticking out past the body. I also don't trust tire racks opinion because they simply check if it'll fit or not. We've had wheels from tire rack that stick out too much or are in too far.

 

As well, will there be any clearance issues with running a set of 285/60/18 tires?

should be 8in rim and 31 mm offset, this is what i have seen on oem wheels for sale here and ebay....
