Early Xmas Present

So saturday I got some headers for my truck. Edelbrock shorty cermaic coated. nice lookn headers to. I spent all day saturday trying to get those old crappy manifolds off. the bolts leading up the head were fine. Getting the piping off the coupler going to the manifold was just absoluetly fun!!! I droped alot of f-bombs on that. but about 12hours later i got them on and once everthing was going good i couldnt help but notice i broke my sensor off that leads to the block for your engine temp. But oh well who needs that anyways. Its a gmc not a ford!

 

But man they look ever so good on the engine it self. sure made the truck alot louder.

Performance gains?

ive acutally noticed it. throttle response is way better. I stepped on it this morning to what it can do, and i just hauls ass now. i went from 0-130km/h before i knew it

We definitely need pics man...

I want to go with LTs for best gains...but that involves about 3G's in exhaust work...I would love to see how shortys actually look.

Yeahs lt's would have been nice. He is some pics of the headers. Not the greatest pics but they do ok. The engine is a little dusty

Yeah man...they do look good....but you have to clean your engine bay

haha its gettn to that part of the year where its to cold for that. its usually clean in the summer haha

Haven't had a -40 winter in 4 years...and I'm not missing them one bit.

 

I am originally from Newfoundland...I know what -40 feels like though.

 

 

Yeah man...those headers really add some look under the hood, and louder is better. I may just have to look into getting a pair of those...hint around to the wife for an xmas gift...LOL
