the dealer makes a little cubby hole for it to store what ever you want costs about $9

im not sure about the part# , i just ran out to the local chevy dealer. they even had it in stock. :D

You could put a video screen or DVD player/tuner/etc there, but it would require a little cutting.

Anyone running the Pioneer GEXFM-903XM FM modulated XM radio?  The dispaly unit (4-5/8"W x 1-9/16"H x 13/16"D) appears to be the exact same size as the cassette slot.  I was contemplating adding this, but haven't yet justified the purchase.

 

My head unit is compatible with the XM radio, and I do not need the display unit, but it would fill the hole, and therefore I could justify purchasing it, as I do not want to cut the opening any larger.

 

Anyone?
