What Is The Best Cold Air Intake For 2008 4.8l Chevy

My buddy has a 2008 single cab Chevy with a 4.8L and has asked me which CAI I feel is the best. I figured I would get some more input so... what do you all think. And, are there things to consider like oiled vs dry filters, etc.?

It really doesn't matter. Go with the one he likes the looks of and price of the best. All the gains are going to similar. As in none of them really do much except add a cool sound and clean look. Well, you may get 5hp at 5500 rpm.

I went with the Airaid Modular intake tube on this truck just because of the price. It definitely makes the truck sound meaner too.

exactly what 66nova said. All will have very close gains if any so all up to the look and price. I went with the s&b for the looks and cheaper then most.

I've been very pleased with GM's Performance air intake. :)

+1

I replaced the paper filter it came with, with a AEM Dryflow reuseable filter. :)

We offer a cold air intake system for a 08 Chevy 4.8 it adds around 8 hp,

It has a 4" polished aluminum tube, heat shield, 6x9 cleanable dry filter, for $130.00
