Fog Lamps

Got my new fog lamp kit the other day from GMpartsdirect. Everything looked good, new switch, wiring harness, and two fog lamps, SWEET!! Looked a little closer and noticed I had two left lamps!! Hope GMpartsdirect makes this right quick. Has anyone dealt with customer service there before? It really stinks not being able to call and talk to someone. I've been waiting to do this for a while now. Guess I'll wait a little longer.

I'd bet they take good care of you. It sucks that they made the mistake though.

Still waiting!! Ever heard someone say, " what are you waiting on, Christmas?" Well it's here now so maybe it will be here soon. Everything is wired and ready to plug and play.

Got my other fog lamp Wednesday!! Installed and working. The front of my truck looks complete now. Just have to install my new 6 disc cd player now.( thanks to dlewis) Have to get it unlocked at the dealer Monday. Can't wait!!

Yes they were. The biggest thing is the wiring. I had to reroute the harness about three times before I got it right. Don't secure any wires till you have got them where you want them. It is very simple once you see how it is done. It also includes instructions.

Edit: I see you have a Chevy. I think you have to remove the bumper to install the caps for the lights. My GMC already had a place for them in the bumper. You might want to search the forum for instructions on how to do this. I know its here, just search "fog lamps" and you should get all the info you need.
