I've been vefy satisfied with these step rails.  I've had them on about a year now.  They clean up very easily and shiney very nicely.  The only complaint I have on them are the step pads, for the front seats, seem to be a little closer to the front part of the step bar than they should be (which is really not too big of a deal), and a few months ago I noticed that they had loosened up slightly since I installed them.  Not much at all, but just enough that you could feel them give a little if you stepped on them.  To fix that, I pulled each bolt out one by one and added a little liquid thread lock (which I meant to do when I initially installed them, but forgot) and retourqed everything down.  No sign of them loosening up yet.  As far as installation, it really wasn't hard at all.  Mine are for the extended cab and I did them by my self.  I'm sure a regular cab would be even easier, since they are not as big and bulky.

I agree, the Westin bars still look new after one really "salty" winter last year, and so far this winter.  I have seen a couple of older ones on trucks, and they seem to hold up really well.

Regular Cab CPS here.  No complaints.

Since I just had mine installed on my 1500HD July 12th, I can't say how they hold up.  I can say that they look great on the truck! Installed by Line-X.
