Just wanted to introduce myself and say that I have just Purchased a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado ext cab z71 and came here to learn more and more about the chevy's. I love to work on my own cars and trucks in my garage. I also don't care whether its Chevy or Ford, they are both great imop. My other rides are a 92 Mustang 5.0 that has been built up, supercharged, etc, 500rwhp. 96 jeep Cherokee 4x4, and my dad and I restored a 1955 Chevy, 1969 Triumph TR6, etc..

More about the truck..

I just purchased a set of Toyo Open Country A/T's from reviewing tires on this forum. Looks like you guys have a great forum and good people on here.

Cheers!

Another car guy here also. I love em all but I do bleed chevy orange though. A 1969 TR6, I have had a few of those and 68 TR250, do you know what that is? TR4A body with TR6 engine trans suspension. I also owned an imported TR5 that was fuel injected and right hand drive. I had the British bug bad for a few years, I love em but I am glad I am cured of that bug.

Just sold a 1969 SS396 Chevelle I owned for about 20 years and 1968 Camaro. I still have my 67 Camaro that I have owned for about 15 years.

Love the 5.0 stangs. Never owned one but they are awsome hotrods. The wife has a 2004 40th Aniniversy vert with the 3.9 V6 it's the all aluminum engine they put in at the last part of production and is worlds above the 3.8. Ford place says it's a close match to the 4.0 than the 3.8. Performance wise it's not bad and it get 25 MPG all over the place, looks good and handles alright. Great ladys car if you ask me.

She wants a new Camaro or Challanger but I bought my 2009 Silverado before she could make up her mind. Now she has to wait a few years......LOL!!

Welcome

Thanks for the welcomes!

And Black 2009 z60 I know all those Triumphs that you mentioned. They are fun little sports cars when they are running and work right! Mine right now needs a camshaft I believe. (one of the valves is barely opening.) Its either that or a worn down lifter for some reason. I will tear into it soon hopefully.

Anyways, here is a photo of my Stang, (hopefully I won't get beat up too bad for posting a Ford photo :) ). I will have to look for some pic's of the other cars. I don't have them uploaded to photobucket.

Nice looking truck. Looks like it is in good condition for a 2000. Any mods planned

Yeah its super clean, A friend of mine who was an X-Chevy mechanic owned it and took really good care of it. Only mods this will probably see is synthetic fluids and I just put a good set of tires on it, (Toyo Open Country A/T's). I have to drive quite a bit for work so I want to keep it at least somewhat decent on mpg.
