If i hit the cruise set button a bunch of times really fast i can see the cruise light on the dash try to light up. HELP!

It was fine until the other night when I removed my trailer brake controller and all I did then was snip the wires to the controller. Fuse is good, nothing else has changed.
ianfaber1 Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 I have had the same problem with my cruise control in the past on my 2003 Silverado. It usually happens when I drive through the fields when there is snow. I think something gets packed with snow and freezes. It must not allow a sensor act correctly. I usually park my truck in a heated garage over night and it works fine after that.
