Vortech Supercharger For 5.3 Liter?

I AM PLANNING TO BOOST MY ENGINE, BUT I DON'T EVEN WANT TO THINK ABOUT DAMAGING MY DEPENDABLE LONG LASTING FACTORY GM TRUCK!

DOES ANYBODY RECOMMENDS VORTECH OR ANY SUPERCHARGER SYSTEM?

BTW ,AS A GM TRUCK OWNER I ALWAYS WANTED DEPENDABLE PRODUCTS ,HASSLE FREE...

I DON'T WANT TO INSTALL SOMETHING THAT WILL GIVE ME ANY KIND OF HASSLE...

Yes it can damage your engine ...if you don't install and set it up correctly. And yes, the VORTEC is a good supercharger ...probably give you less hassle than what the dealership will give you for bring that new truck in for warranty work on the motor with a supercharger on it. But hey ...I know how it is!

He lives in Brazil so getting warranty work done is pretty much a no go.

I'd would go with anything Jenna suggests with all her/their experience in this area

If the super charger is set up correctly then engine damage has more to do with the driver then the super charger.

I agree, if it is installed correctly, there should be no problems. Installation includes tuning and taking care of any other parts in the engine/tranny that may be weak links with the increased HP/TQ. We have run Magnachargers on 3 of our vehicles which are DDs without any issues, but we also make sure that everything is in tip top shape, don't slam the throttle until the engine is warmed up, and keep good gas flowing in the tank.
