08 Yukon Wiper Problem

My wipers work ok in low or high mode, but on any intermittent setting they wipe once and stop. Before I go through the hassle of bringing it in for warranty service (the dealer isn't too close), is there a quick fix? Possibly a plug-in relay?

Bring it in for warranty..if you do something and catch the thing on fire...I've done it and I have nearly 20 years working on vehicles...you are screwed.
