Can Glue Fix My Knocked Off Passanger Mirror Without Replacement

A coin-op auto wash oscillating blow dryer knocked my passanger mirror off my 2008 Silverado. They will deny all fault saying I should have closed my mirrrors down. Well I admit I didn't know I needed to and they were not closed in; live and learn.

It broke the plastic parts the internal bolts screw into. I was able to "POP" it back in place and it holds on fine "IF" I keep it closed so the weight does not pop it back out.

My question is I have many high power epoxy glues and carbon fiber mixes we use on mach+ airframes.

Has anyone had success just gluing mirrors back on to the bolt sections and the "POP IN" frames for a repair?

I broke off all three bolt tabs on one of the mirrors on my 95 Blazer. I used two part epoxy and it lasted for for well over two years.
