6l80e Upgrades And Longevity

OK, so some of this may sound silly, but that is what happens when I start thinking too much!

Since the 6L80E is fairly new and I plan to keep my truck for many years to come, I was wondering what I could do to make it last. In all my previous vehicles, I had added a trans cooler, Redline synthetic fluid, TransGo Shift Kit, and a pan magnet if there was not one from the factory. I already have a factory cooler and will switch to Redline when it is time for a fluid and filter change at the 50K mile mark. I also know that these transmissions are not supported for firming up the shifts with a tuner.

So I guess I have two questions:

1) Has anyone seen or heard of any current or proposed upgrades for the 6 speeds (servos, shift kits, etc)?

2) Do these transmissions come with oil pan magnets from the factory? If not I was thinking about adding one of the Filtermag flat magnets that go on the outside of the pan. Thoughts on this?

Haven't heard of much really for upgrades I know PTAC has a Billet T/C for it and an overhaul kit...but that's it really. ....and the plan of a magnet on the outside isn't a bad one...everything helps.

It comes filled with synthetic fluid...you can do the standard adding of a larger cooler...but there isn't much right now other than that. Tuning will firm up the shifts, making the clutches take less abuse.

Besides a custom tuning, just put a Tru-Cool 40K cooler on it to keep the temps down until the aftermarket catches up with shift kits and hard parts.
