Front End Growl Only When Cold

I have a 2004 Tahoe 4WD Z71 and am experiencing a front end “growl” only when temps. drop below 30 deg. This noise sounds like I am running monster truck tires on the front only. After 2-3 miles the noise is gone. Other than the noise, everything else seems normal.

This morning was different, the temp was 10 deg. and the noise lessened by did not go away after my 30 mile drive to work.

I brought the truck in to my Chevrolet dealer last week and they could not find any issues with it, of course I picked a 40 deg. Day!!

Help…

lol ya mine is a pulseing...nytemare why does it go away when it warms up? if i accelerate slowly when the truck is dead cold(like freezing or below outside) it vibrates a bit more then its gone...

Cold mounts dont flex and transmit all engine vibration through the chassis and body. If it only happens when its cold I think your fine....See my PM about this.

And +1 on bearings.
