Brake Pedal Pivot

I was noticing that my brake pedal felt really loose under my foot. So, I looked at the mechanism and noticed that the pivot on the brake pedal itself is very sloppy. The pedal moves back and forth quite a bit and it looks like it's worn a lot around where the pivot bolt goes through. Is there a new bushing that can go there or could it be the bolt wearing? Or, do I need a new pedal assy?

The manual does not show a replaceable bushing. That doesnt mean its not though. You need to talk to a parts guy at a dealership.

Thanks. I'll probably go down there today. It just seems way too loose.

Not a servicable part. Replacement of the assembly is required unless you can take it apart and replace just the bushing....
