pm26 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Anybody owns either of these vehicles? Are they fun to drive? The Cobalt SS only comes with a 5 speed manual, which you can get an auto transmission in the HHR SS, but the HP is lower.
gregrocks89 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 well i think a colbalt would win plus the looks to. i hate the hhr with a passion. i think its one of the ugliest things ever made!!
90454SS Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Low 14's in the cobalt and the mags report it's a pretty good ride. The hhr probably a few ticks back....I'd take either one as a commuter. I actually like the looks of the hhr.
Zembonez Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 The Cobalt SS would probably be fun for the first 30,000 miles... before it started to crumble from being abused. I've driven the HHR SS and it was impossible to see out of and really not all that quick feeling. I love the look of the HHR SS though.
Wingnut Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I'd take a turbo Cobalt SS in a heartbeat if I only had to drive it on an auto-x course. They're pretty beastly in the handling dept. I'd beat the living snot out of it too. Like Jim said...It would be falling apart in 30k miles. But then...Drive any car the way I'd drive a 'balt SS and it would be junk in 30k miles.
Zembonez Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Yipper. I wasn't implying that the car was junk, but it would be after I hammered the crap out of it foe 30k!
amtz.zero Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I would take the Cobalt SS. I don't like the HHR.
gregrocks89 Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 agreed i would take a cobalt anyday. actually i dont mind the look of them.
